Soo, Eva and Jake have been in London since Tuesday to represent Felt at London's Cycle Show. There were sooo many ridiculously rad bikes it blew my mind like over and over and I was exhausted by the end from being so stoked. They were rad enough to schneak me in, cheers guys, you rule!

I was soo excited the whole time, it was like if you were a baby and someone stole your candy, but replaced your candy with like a million dollars in a savings account at the bank for you, but you never knew, and then like one day your parents told you that you had that much money. every once in awhile i'll come across a picture that evokes such vivid memory. i came across this picture on some random person's flickr and i remember driving home from a day trip i took almost three years ago. i saw everything. i saw the boat being pulled along the highway, i saw the exact lighting of that afternoon, and later on that evening, the pier. i was wearing this red shirt that said "my job is so secret i don't even know what i'm doing."

this pendulum rotates with the earth and knocks down pins to demonstrates that the world is rotating. it's pretty rad.

i feel so bad for pluto. it is now deemed a "dwarf planet." apparently to be considered a planet, it must be massive enough to create an orbit and generate enough gravitational force where nothing crosses its path. in pluto's case, there are many objects that cross its path along the kuiper belt, of which pluto belongs to. in the kuiper belt, pluto shares characteristics of comets as solar wind blows pluto's surface into space. i read that if pluto was closer to the sun, that it would develop a tail just like comets have. it has also been stated that pluto's orbit does not lie in the same plane as all of the other planets, which lie on the ecliptic plane, where orbits are defined by a nearly circular path. contrasted to that path, pluto's orbit is tilted 17 degrees from the ecliptic plane and orbits the sun in an elliptical path. the observatory has a good model that further explains this... maan, what terrible news. i spent this past weekend in san luis obispo to celebrate my boy, brian's college graduation. it was rad having everyone together and just doing whatever. i got to see don and jan and they took us all out to dinner and i sweated all over the place cause i sweat whenever i eat spicy food. luckily, we were out on the patio and it was pretty cold out.

congratulations my friend, we've been best friends since i was in the fifth grade and i wouldn't of had it any other way. i'm way proud of you dude. godspeed you! white engineer.

this past week i ventured south for the holiday of thanksgiving. i left monday morning down to san luis obispo to stay with brian for a day or two. there're a lot of things i miss about that place. during my journey there i got to hangout with eurosport captain, kyle wilhelm. we ventured to los osos to skate that damn park, we both got broke, so we ventured on to chet's thai boat. later that night, i got to see big business. it was rad paying for half of brian's ticket to get him to go with me. watching coady drum was so rad tho. the next day brian and myself indulged in some silvester's and i got my favorite black bean burger in the world. then, we took pictures at montana de oro. ill post those pictures later.
huntington was rad. i haven't been homesick much until this semester, so seeing family, seeing good friends, and eating quality food was soo good. i got nick's three times and taco loco three times. not to mention mom's good ol' cookin' on thanksgiving. i got to skate the rvca ramp wednesday with brad, marky, and mark. haha. it was soo fun, i'll post those pictures with the slo pictures. skated santa ana on friday, devin r. drove, tight. partied that night with brian, vanessa, and eva in long beach. this macho dude with a beard who seemed to love brian told me he could "kick my ass," and it was so rad. brian stole strawberries. saturday night was rad too. after meeting up at brandon's we set out to long beach to meet up with devin h.
